The majority of Act-isure installations have replaced earlier generations of systems, often separate policy and claims systems, as clients have opted for the benefits of Act-isure’s fully integrated modules.  Valuable data may be locked up in these legacy systems.  For clients who wish to migrate this data to Act-isure, a full set of migration tools are available to enable client, policy, claims and accounting data to be migrated to the Act-isure database.  The tools ensure that only validated data is loaded to the database.

Data migration is typically a joint project where our client deals with the extraction and transformation of the data and Activus provides loading services.

A variety of migration strategies have been executed from large scale Big Bang migrations through phased migrations, partial migrations etc.
